Fast and Easy KIA EV Charging

There are several ways to charge your electric vehicle—at home charging and public charging stations. KIA Charge home charger options are easy, cost effective, and come with benefits. You simply need to choose the one that’s suited for you and have your EV or PHEV fully charged whenever you want.

Depending on your KIA EV or PHEV’s driving range and your desired distance of travel, you may have to have your battery charged at one of many public charging stations across the country. Wherever you live or travel, your KIA app will show you a map of available charging stations near you.

KIA’s All-Electric Vehicle Lineup

If you’ve decided to make the switch to electric power for your next vehicle, KIA has plenty of great options that include electric cars and SUVs, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) cars and SUVs, and hybrid cars and SUVs—and a new Carnival MPV Hybrid and others due out soon.

KIA all-electric vehicles include the 2024 Niro EV compact crossover SUV, the 2024 KIA EV6 GT compact crossover SUV, and the 2024 KIA EV9 midsize crossover SUV. These three KIAs are equipped with battery packs and electric motors and run solely on electric power.

KIA’s Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles

KIA hybrids include the Niro Hybrid, the Sorento Hybrid, and the Sportage Hybrid. KIA also offers several plug-in hybrids including the KIA Niro Plug-in Hybrid, the KIA Sportage Plug-in Hybrid, and the KIA Sorento Plug-in Hybrid.

Hybrid vehicles are those that use both a gas-powered engine and one or more electric motors for propulsion. Straight hybrids do not need to be charged by an outside source. They are charged by regenerative braking. Plug-in hybrid vehicles require charging via an outside source.
